The Wait Is Over : CAT 2016 Official Notification Is Out !

MBA aspirants will sigh a much needed respite since official announcement has been made by IIM about 2016 CAT examination. As per our observation, each year IIMs release the official notification during the last week of July, so candidates need to patiently wait till that time for the official date to be released by the authority.


Each year CAT is conducted on a rotational basis where the responsibility of conducting CAT is given to one of the IIMs. This year IIM Bangalore is going to take the responsibility of conducting the same.  The CAT scores will be accepted at the top B-schools that have a combined seat of around 3750.


The CAT Exam Pattern and Syllabus will remain the same but it is predicted that the difficulty level might be increased. The candidates will be able to go for a mock test released on official site on 18th October. Students will be having three sections and 180 minutes of 60 minutes each for solving the questions. They cannot switch sections while answering.


CAT 2016 examination admit card will be released on 18th October. CAT 2016 aspirants can look out for the official release on leading newspapers and journals on 31st July (Sunday).
