Students who have applied for the revaluation of their CBSE board examinations marks will be issued a fresh mark sheet in the event of change of their original marks. There are primarily two ways in which the revised mark sheet can be obtained by the concerned student:
- You have to get a letter written by the Principal/Head of your school where he/she will state that you had applied for revaluation and that you wish to collect the revised mark sheet and surrender your old one. You have to send this letter along with your original mark sheet to the CBSE headquarters. For safety reasons, it is advisable to send them by speed post or registered courier services. On receiving this letter, CBSE will post the revised mark sheet to your school address from where you can collect it. The whole process may take 25-30 days.
- For those of you who do not wish to wait that long or do not want to take the risk of losing the mark sheet in post, there is another quicker and safer way. After revaluation, CBSE sends an e-mail to the registered address confirming the change in marks. You can visit your Regional CBSE office with a copy of that email and your original mark sheet on any working day. They will issue the revised mark sheet on the same day within a few hours. This is a lot safer way of getting the mark sheet as there will be not Post involved. There are 10 CBSE Regional headquarters in the country. They are located in the following cities- Delhi,Chennai, Allahabad, Guwahati,Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and Panchkula.
