Follow us on,

It’s almost 2022! As we turn another page of the calendar, it’s time to take a look back at December which was nothing short of amazing. With the spirit of Christmas in our hearts and excitement for the new year, BYJUites participated in a slew of fun contests, workshops, and an exciting book exchange with fellow bibliophiles to close the year on a happy and cheerful note!

Engaging contests to celebrate the year-end!

Create-a-card contest

Tell us a better way to start the New Year than by sharing warm wishes with your loved ones! BYJUites took the excitement a notch higher by creating their own New Year cards from scratch.  The theme of the contest was “New Beginnings” and we must say, we were quite stunned by the creativity of the entries.

Christmas Carol contest

Carols do make Christmas more Christmassy, right?! To ring in the holly jolly season, BYJUites along with their friends and family, recreated some of the most popular Christmas carols. We were mesmerised by the melodious entries that came in!

Workshops with a Christmas twist

BYJUites got together and celebrated Christmas in its true spirit! Our year-end Christmas workshops were all about learning fun skills to make the season more festive.

To celebrate the Christmas weekend, BYJUites participated in an eco-friendly decor workshop. The thought was to celebrate the festival while bringing about a change! It was indeed a sight to see participants, join along with their peers and family members and create Christmas ornaments with recyclable items.

Next up was a Christmas desserts-making workshop with Chef Gunjan Sharma. BYJUites learned to make easy-peasy desserts to enjoy the festive time. Among the yummy recipes were, caramel custard and delicious Christmas-coloured marzipans. We saw the attendees join in great numbers and enjoy making these dishes along with the chef.

Super Colleague campaign in collaboration with YourDost

The month of December is also a month of gratitude. In line with the theme of expressing gratitude, we organized a Super Colleague campaign in partnership with YourDOST, our employee wellness partner. This 4-day campaign was a fun means for BYJUites to celebrate and appreciate the support of their peers who always go the extra mile to save their day. It was heartwarming to see team members exchanging cute virtual postcards and sharing, tagging, and bragging about their colleague’s support.

Book Exchange for LitWit members

Even BYJU’S LitWit – our very own book club – was reveling in the Christmas spirit. The members of the club got together and shared their wishlist for an exciting ‘Book Exchange’ activity. What followed next was a fun week of exchanging notes and guessing the Secret Santas . The best part was to see people across teams coming together and sharing their mutual love for books.

With gratitude for the year that was and excitement for what’s next, we wrapped up 2021 on a happy, merry note. Here’s hoping 2022 is all sorts of amazing!
