  Mars Orbiter Mission

Mars Orbiter Mission is the first interplanetary mission by India, making ISRO the fourth space agency to reach Mars. Launched in November 2013, India is now the first Asian country to reach Mars orbit and the first country on Earth to reach the orbit of Mars in the first attempt, using the spacecraft Mangalyaan.

ASTROSAT

ASTROSAT is ISRO's first dedicated Indian Astronomy satellite mission, launched in September 2015. ASTROSAT simultaneously enabled multi-wavelength observations of the celestial bodies and cosmic sources in X-ray and UV spectral bands. The uniqueness of ASTROSAT lies within its broad spectral coverage extending over visible, UV, soft and hard X-ray regions.

LVM3-X/CARE Mission

CARE Mission is India's latest generation Launch Vehicle. LVM3's first experimental suborbital flight took off at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota, in December 2014. The crew model at CARE at the altitude of 126 km. The crew model splashed down at Andaman and Nicobar Islands, exploring the potential of LVM3.

PSLV-C51/Amazonia-1

PSLV-C51 launched Amazonia-1, India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle with 18 co-passenger satellites, on February 28, 2021, from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. Amazonia-1 is an INPE-dedicated optical earth observation satellite, providing remote sensing data to users to monitor deforestation in the Amazon region and analyse diversified agriculture across the Brazilian territory.

PSLV-C50/CMS-01

CMS-01 launched successfully in December 2020 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. This was the 52nd flight of PSLV and the 22nd flight of PSLV in 'XL' configuration. In the coming days, an orbit-raising manoeuvre will be executed to position the satellite in the Geostationary Orbit at its designated location.

PSLV-C49/EOS-01

In its fifty-first flight (PSLV-C49), India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle successfully launched EOS-01 along with nine international customer satellites from SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota, in November 2020. Meet EOS-01, an earth observation satellite intended for forestry, agriculture, and disaster management support applications.

Chandrayaan 1

India's first Lunar probe, Chandrayaan, is a product of former President APJ Abdul Kalam's vision developed by ISRO and was launched in 2008. This mission helped get evidence of water in the Moon's exosphere.

Chandrayaan 2

Chandrayaan 2 was launched from the second launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre to the Moon by GSLV Mk III in July 2019. It consists of a lunar orbiter, rover, lander, and rover, all made in India. The main objective is to map the location and abundance of lunar water.
