Foster individuality

Help twins discover their identities. Parents must not presume they're the same. Twins have independent interests and skills, like other siblings.

Use their  individual names

Parents need to address each twin by their name, which shows their individuality is valued. Insist that others refer to the twins by their separate names too.

Sync schedules

Maintaining a consistent eating and sleep routine for your twins is essential. It will also help manage your schedule.

Double up on essentials only

As you learn your children's preferences, you may not need to double up on every item. However, you should get two of everything essential, such as car seats and cribs.

Don’t compare

Avoid drawing parallels between the twins – in terms of their developmental milestones and overall potential, as this might lead to sibling rivalry later.

Child-proof  your house

As it is hard to keep an eye on two toddlers at once, parents of twins must take additional measures to provide a safe environment.

Say no when required

Avoid social events if it seems to contradict your routine with the twins. But handle the situation delicately since you don't want conflict with your loved ones.
