Beneficiaries Speak: Tales of Their Friendships
“Friends are the family you choose” – Jess C Scott
Every year, friendship day is celebrated in India on the first Sunday of August to commemorate all the special bonds that two or more friends share. The idea is to celebrate these ties that remain undefined by race, gender, social background or other factors.
On this occasion, we asked our beneficiaries to write about their best friends. They wrote to their hearts’ content about why their friend is unique and what they mean to them. From growing up together to hoping for a lifetime of being friends, these words talk about their special bond of friendship.
Take a look at some of their beautiful words below.

BYJU’S Education for All is on a mission to empower 10 million children by 2025 with education. Through the BYJU’S Give programme, you can contribute to this movement and help children with quality digital learning. You can donate an old device, which we will refurbish, and then use the money raised to buy a new device. In case you do not have a device, you can also donate to an NGO partner, who will use the funds to buy devices for children.
In both cases, we will load our BYJU’S Think & Learn premium content onto these devices and distribute them to children in need.
