This happens because our understanding of taste is largely dependent on our eyes!! Try this as a mini-experiment at home.

Bamboo can grow 35 inches in one day! In comparison, a human baby grows roughly one inch a month!
A bamboo plant in the United Kingdom even has a Guinness World Record for the fastest growing plant.

Cucumbers are fruits and not vegetables!
Since cucumbers grow from the cucumber flower and have seeds, it is considered a fruit and not a vegetable.

Before the 16th century, carrots were purple!
Dutch farmers in the 17th century eventually started growing the mutant orange versions and that’s what we eat today!

In the 1600s, a tulip in Holland cost more than a house!
This craze around the flowers and their excessive price eventually crashed the Dutch economy!

 

A group of bananas is called a hand!
