Picture this! Your day isn’t going all great, things seem to be going sideways, and you are not feeling your best self. And just the, someone says something nice to you – a compliment, a thank you or a simple “Hello” – and it instantly turns your whole day around. Has this ever happened to you? Well, it’s not uncommon.
That’s the power of words!
This month, BYJUites focused on a Mantra that seems very trivial, but when practised, makes a huge difference: Leave an impact with kind words.
Albus Dumbledore said, “Words are the most inexhaustible source of magic, capable of both inflicting injury and remedying it,” and we couldn’t agree more. Words have the power to heal or to harm, to encourage or to discourage, to inspire or to hinder. Being mindful while speaking and using kind words doesn’t cost us anything but can bring a whole lot of happiness into someone’s day. And it can provide strength to someone when they can’t find it within themselves.

Kind words are not just impactful for the people receiving it but also for the speaker as they can change the mood, help build meaningful interpersonal relationships and make people feel good about themselves.
While we are talking about being kind to others, there’s someone who deserves this kindness the most – YOU! Do not forget to say these kind words to yourself every now and then.
What is the kindest word you heard that made your day? Let us know in the comments below!
