Happy Winnie the Pooh Day, everyone! Most of us grew up with Winnie the Pooh being our childhood favourite, featuring Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore, Kanga, Rabbit, and Owl. 

While we can never forget the hours of joy it brought us through its friendship-wrapped tales and mindful storytelling, do you know how Winnie the Pooh came into existence? 

A.A. Milne, the author of the books, based the narrative on his son, Christopher Robin, and all the characters are named after Robin’s plush toys. Seriously! The first publication went live in 1962. Through these stories, Milne wanted to highlight the intricacies of childhood friendships, but little did he know that this classic book series would become relevant to everyone, irrespective of generation or age.
