World Health Day 2022 | ‘Twas All About Holistic Wellness For BYJUites
World Health Day is celebrated on April 7 across the world. At BYJU’S, we prioritise our employees’ health and various initiatives are undertaken to ensure that for BYJUites have access to all the resources to take care of themselves and their families.

This year, we celebrated Health Day@BYJU’S with workshops, themed around holistic wellness. During the week, a variety of webinars and events were also underway, focusing on physical, mental & social health.

We kickstarted the event with a webinar on Managing Burnout and Ways to Combat It by Dr. Nikita Somani, a counseling psychologist and an expert from YourDost, our mental wellness partner. The 60 mins session was designed to understand burnout, it’s signs and symptoms so that we can manage our work routine better and avoid a burnout. During the session, Dr. Somani also talked about building resilience and shared tips and strategies on dealing with burnout.

Day 2 was all about learning The Art of Effective Communication. The expert at this webinar discussed what communication can mean to someone, explored the personal challenges associated with communicating effectively and helped BYJUites with hands-on strategies for good communication using role-play scenarios.
The week came to a close with an action-packed session! We conducted a high energy bhangra fitness session for BYJUites, where there was music and a lot of fun. The trainer, Pooja Purohit, spoke about how fitness doesn’t have to be boring and one can achieve their health goals while making their fitness journey fun and enjoyable. It was amazing to see so many participants grooving to the beats of bhangra with their friends and family.

Fitness is not a destination, it is a journey. These workshops are a great opportunity for BYJUites to take a break from their work and learn more about inculcating healthy habits into their routine for overall health.
