The COVID-19 pandemic made everyone realise the importance of holistic well-being. It reflected how wellness is not only relevant but also extremely crucial in today’s times. Health is wealth, indeed. And at BYJU’S, we want to make sure our employees feel safe and supported in every aspect of their lives, especially when it comes to well-being. Our new leave policy — Period, Child-care, Maternity, Paternity and others — is also one of the mindful changes we recently made to put employee wellness above everything else.

BYJU’S, in a first, launched the BFit program earlier this week, in partnership with Policybazaar and VISIT App. The initiative takes a holistic approach towards employees’ well-being, especially the physical aspect of it. While BYJU’S Let’s Talk Initiative — launched last year in partnership with YourDOST — aids the mental aspect of an employee’s well-being, the BFit program caters to the physical part of wellness.

BYJU’S Chief People Officer, Pravin Prakash, kicked-off the BYJU’S BFit Initiative on December 1, 2021. Citing the importance of holistic wellness, Pravin said, “Apart from providing you with the support to explore your professional path, we also want to ensure that your personal development is something that we can aid and help you with. I’m sure you’ll agree with me that it’s only when we pay attention to both these aspects that we can live life to the fullest. With that in mind, I want you to know that your mental and physical well-being is as important to us as your professional one.”
Pravin further said, “I hope you leverage the program as much as you can to keep your mind and body healthy and well. There’s no time like the present to start on a fitness journey, and I hope to see you participate in the program with the same enthusiasm that you bring to your work too!”
More details on the features and how you can benefit from the program will follow soon.
