One day, Abdul’s teacher had brought the whole class to the beach to observe the birds flying over the sea. Abdul was left awestruck! The concepts of locomotion – thrust, lift, and velocity- that he had seen on the blackboard came to life when he saw the birds in flight! Now, Abdul was driven to learn everything about aerodynamics. Abdul wanted to fly to the stars, and he would stop at nothing to achieve that dream.
William’s life changed when his school started a computer lab for the first time! Learning about computers ignited a passion in William that he had never experienced before. He wanted to spend all his waking hours learning about computers, and in his sleep, he even dreamt about them! During the weekends, he took a bus to a nearby college so he could keep learning in the lab there. William wanted to make his own computer, and he was going to learn everything possible to get there.
Marie was a brilliant student who had her heart set on studying physics in college. But, she did not have any money to pay the fees. Marie, however, was not the one to let obstacles get in her way. The thrill that she got from learning how the universe worked was something Marie wanted to have for the rest of her life! Undeterred, she took up multiple jobs to earn money for her fees. Marie even found a secret underground school to help her study for college-level courses! The only thing that kept her going through these obstacles was her passion to study physics.
