November was all about spreading awareness, from diabetes management, men’s health, to mental health and other critical issues related to physical and emotional wellness.

This World Diabetes Day, we hosted a session with Harsheen Kaur, from Nutrithy, to apprise everyone about diabetes – detection, management. and mitigation. Harsheen shared tips on how to lead a healthy lifestyle, food habits, timely meals and more, for better health in the long run. This was followed by an AMA, where BYJUites got several health-related questions answered.
This International Men’s Day, BYJUites joined an insightful session- Being a (Hu)man – centered around men’s mental health. Priyanka Manchanda, an expert in emotional wellness from YourDost, explained that men face many stereotypes and misconceptions in our society. She also taught the participants to overcome them with awareness, acceptance, and taking action.
Keeping in mind the mental health of BYJUites, we organized a wellness-based session on Managing Stress and Anxiety. We were joined by Archita Sobti, (M.A. Psychology), who focuses primarily on anxiety, depression, dementia, and insomnia, among other mental health concerns. As a part of the session, we learnt how to identify stress and anxiety, their symptoms, and effective techniques to help manage them.

A passionate doodle artist with OCD (Obsessive Coffee Disorder), Samata’s interest lies in telling stories either through her doodles or write-ups! She loves all things indigo! Her thinking cap is always on and she is all about coming up with creative and quirky ideas to make the workplace more awesome. After work hours, you can find Samata either scribbling sketches on her notepad or sleeping (Zzzz). She loves traveling just so that she can experience sleeping or sipping on coffee across different parts of the world.
