To celebrate World Poetry Day, we conducted a week-long ‘Pen-it-Down Poetry Contest’ for the super-talented in-house poets of BYJU’S.
With their passion to weave words, BYJUites took the time to display their poetic flair this year. The contest revealed an overwhelming number of budding poets among us, who showcased their talent and creativity. They beautifully weaved their emotions into words as they mulled over the topic for this year’s contest: “Toast to a new beginning – 2021 & The year that was- 2020.”
The contest was indeed a great way to look back at the year that was and to remind us of what the future holds. Here are some of our top picks from numerous entries that we have received. Be prepared to fall in love with words!
Here are the other noteworthy entries that won our hearts through their words.
Harshita looks for stories in almost everything. A hopeless dreamer and a movie buff, she is known for laughing at her own jokes and being proud of it. She has a thing for sarcasm, wit and everything savage. A supporter of the underprivileged, she will totally judge you for being rude to the waiter in a restaurant. Loves conspiracy theories and myths and prefers dogs over humans. She is an impulsive writer and hopes to write a book someday.
Arya C is a 4th grader who talks about her transition from the US to India and how BYJU`S has helped her at that. She also loves how BYJU`S has made learning a lot more fun.
Meet Sourabh who has a ton to say about his BYJU`S learning experience. His love for quizzes, games and other fun activities are paying off!
V Shriya is a class eight student who has been using BYJU’S for a year now. She shares her experiences with using the app and how it has helped her in improving her academic performance.
