The month of July at BYJU’S was filled with fun activities, contests, quizzes and workshops. We always aim to create a culture of learning at BYJU’S and this month focussed on just that. From workshops on filing ITR to a virtual comedy show, it was an exciting and informative month. Read to know more about how we spent July at BYJU’S.
Filling ITR made easy
When the deadline to file ITR approached, we hosted an informative workshop by Nidhi Manchanda from Fintoo, detailing the process and addressing all queries. BYJUites were taken through a step-by-step process on how to file income tax returns. The session was followed by an Ask Me Anything, during which attendees got a chance to voice their doubts and get relevant help from the experts.
AMA session to know all about bone health
Caught up with our professional and personal lives, we often miss taking time out for exercise or taking care of our postures. But did you know that our diet and lack of exercise can have a severe impact on our bone health? In order to make people aware about this, we hosted a workshop featuring Dr. Kiran Chauka and Dr.Sunil Guru Kini, joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeons from Manipal Hospitals. During this session, BYJUites learnt about the importance of taking care of bone health and also got all their queries answered regarding sports injuries, lifestyle issues, fractures etc.
A fun Zumba session for Women@BYJU’S
In an effort to celebrate balanced living, we hosted a Zumba workshop for the InspiHER community with Deeksha Kotian, a well-known Zumba instructor. It was a 40-minutes-long session, which witnessed the women of BYJU’S letting their hair down and grooving to some foot-tapping music.
An evening with coffee, paints and laughter!
We organized a super fun on-ground Coffee Painting Workshop at our Prestige Tech Park office on 21st July and BYJUites truly unleashed their inner artists. We were joined by Jatinder Saini, an artisan certified by the Government of India, who beautifully guided BYJUites to create their own masterpieces by painting with coffee. We discovered some true artistic talent and watched the participants de-stress with their paint brushes gliding across the paper.
A Friday full of laughter with Gurleen Pannu
Last Friday was certainly a Fri-Yay for BYJUites as Gurleen Pannu graced us with a hilarious performance during the Laugh Out Loud show. Basking in the recent success of Comicstaan season 3, the comedian entertained us with her funny take on everyday situations. BYJUites also had a chance to chat with Gurleen and believe us when we say this, every moment with her was a laughter riot.
Let us know in the comments below if you enjoyed reading about our workshops and events and what activities you would like to be a part of in the coming months. We would be happy to organise them for you.
