NIRMALA R- Lead HR Specialist at BYJU’S

If someone asked what the best part about your job was, what would you say?

The best part is that I’m the first source of contact for everybody at the company. From helping everyone with onboarding to introducing them to the new systems, we make people comfortable. Besides, everyone will know you.

Happiest memory from working at BYJU’S?

Feb 6, 2013. That was my first day here at BYJU’S. That is the day I stepped into the corporate culture. So every year, when I turn one year older at BYJU’S, it feels special.

If you had to choose a superpower to change the world, what would you change?

I would love to just disappear and check what others are doing (laughs). But on a serious note, I would want to make the world corruption-free and provide education to everyone.

Who has been your favourite companion during the lockdown?

My little son who is 2.5 two-and-a-half-year old now. He’s kept me on my toes throughout this.

Something you learned about yourself recently?

One thing I have discovered during WFH is that I can multitask.

What’s your mantra to stay at the top of your game?

Here at BYJU’S, if you give your best, you will get the best in return.
