BYJUites volunteering with WWF (World Wildlife Fund)

BYJUites attended a workshop organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), where they learned how to take action towards a cleaner and safer planet.

Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22 April to unite the world towards the conscious cause of protecting the environment. The objective is simply to bring people together for this noble cause and unite people to save the planet for the future

Across the world, people celebrate with different activities like tree-planting, cleanup drives, etc. BYJUites, too, took a step towards conserving the planet’s resources.

BYJUites attended a workshop organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), where they learned how to take action towards a cleaner and safer planet.

The workshop focused on raising awareness about water conservation and included activities such as a drawing session of birds and fun fact games. BYJUites also took a tour of the Puttenahalli Lake in Bangalore, using the opportunity to observe various bird species and understand the importance of preserving natural bodies of water.

A workshop conducted by WWF with BYJUites

‘We attended a workshop conducted by the WWF where we learned about the significance of water conservation and how we can contribute to it in our daily lives. The tour of the beautiful Puttenahalli Lake and its diverse birdlife was truly amazing! The drawing session of birds and the games were an added bonus. The experience made me realise the importance of taking responsibility and making small changes in our daily lives to save water. I was grateful to be a part of this volunteering workshop and hope to attend many more,’ Vishwathi KV, Marketing Associate.

‘I learned about water footprint awareness through the session and also how small changes in our daily lives can make a big difference in saving water. Exploring Puttenahalli Lake, Bangalore, was also a dream-like experience,’ Pavithra P., Academic Specialist.

‘The workshop was very informative, and the tour of the beautiful Puttenahalli Lake was truly amazing. I learned about water footprint awareness and how small changes in our daily lives can make a big difference in saving water. I hope we get to make these small differences and attend such volunteering workshops in the future to make a better version of the world,’ Anushree Gangadhar, Marketing Associate.

We hope that we can make a difference to the planet with the support of our BYJUites. With every volunteering activity, we will strive to impact the world with a positive change.
